OFSTED Inspection Report
We are pleased to share the outcome of our most recent Ofsted inspection, which took place on 12 May 2026.
During the inspection, inspectors spent time observing children's learning and development, speaking with staff and leaders, and reviewing how the nursery supports children to make progress and achieve their potential. We are delighted that Margaret McMillan Nursery School was found to be meeting the Expected Standard, recognising the quality of care, education and support provided for our children and families.
At Margaret McMillan Nursery School, we are committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive and inspiring environment where every child feels safe, valued and encouraged to learn. Our dedicated staff work in partnership with families to ensure children develop the confidence, curiosity and skills they need for a successful start in life.
We are proud of the warm relationships that underpin our nursery community and grateful for the continued support of our parents, carers, staff and governors. Together, we strive to provide outstanding experiences that help children flourish socially, emotionally and academically.
